Careers for Life - Schools

Formerly the “Vocational Guidance Program” , our highly effective Schools program is designed specifically for Year 10, 11 and 12 students.  We work with you to provide programs appropriate to particular year levels, your school’s ethos, curriculum and budget.  To discuss these possibilities, talk with us.  See what our clients say, click here.

Program Features
Students participate in a group Assessment Session conducted by our positive psychologists.  They then attend a Feedback Session, pre-arranged with your school.

The assessments provide students with objective information about themselves, thereby increasing self-awareness.  The results enable them to start exploring careers, identify specific career directions and therefore make appropriate subject selections.

Working Together
The exploration of factors such as school results, skills, personality, values and decision-making styles is essential in making wise career choices.

Your school’s resources combined with our services, will provide an integrated approach and fresh perspectives for students and their parents.

Involving Parents
We recognise that parents are an important influence upon their children’s lives.  We believe it is essential that parents share this stage of the journey by attending the pre-arranged Feedback Session.

Careers for Life offers parents insight, information and a range of strategies so they can support their children and create an optimistic vision of their future.

Trend Analysis & Your Curriculum
We can provide your school with an annual summary of student test results. Ongoing analysis of trends in interests and aptitudes can contribute to curriculum development. For more information, talk with us.
